Shantanu is an entrepreneur at heart and has a passion for encouraging new businesses
His professional experience spanning around 25 years includes working in Indian as
well as US based companies at the CEO/ Business Head levels.
• He is one of the first players to develop the Business Process Outsourcing model in late 1990’s.
• He is among the first to introduce the concept of Knowledge Management in Indian businesses.
• He is also recognized as one of the pioneers who ushered in Legal Process Outsourcing in India, having successfully setup 3 LPO's in the country.
He has advised various PSU’s, corporate bodies and Government institutions on Knowledge Management, Outsourcing, Business Transformation and Strategic Business Processes in India and overseas. He has delivered simultaneous large‐scale, mission‐critical projects successfully across cross domain and cross functional areas in a global market.
He is an alumnus of prestigious institutions like the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Wharton Business School, University of Maryland and University of London. He is one of the first few in the world to be ‘Certified in Sales’ under ISO norms by Dutch Council for Accreditation, Geneva. He has qualifications in Knowledge Management, Entrepreneurship, Personnel Management, Export Management, Competitive Intelligence, Software Engineering, Quality Control & ISO Audits, Six Sigma, Labour Laws, British Common Law, General Management and Intellectual Property.
He has been a guest lecturer in various business and law schools. He has been a mentor to few startup businesses. Shantanu heads Shriyai as it’s CEO and works on a hands-on level in every activity. His keen interest lies in creating value within early stage ventures. He is also involved in a social initiative for upliftment of the uneducated and backward class. As the General Secretary of a US based Trust, he focuses on arranging funds and strategizing for various Humanitarian projects for third world governments across Asia and Africa.
He is happily married and has a son. He spends his free time in reading ancient scriptures and correlating them with latest scientific and medical discoveries.
Bawa Grover (Education and Turnarounds), a mechanical engineer and an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, has over 30 year's work Experience, with last 15 years at Executive Leadership at "C" & Director Levels including working in Corporate banking financial services(Citigroup & ICICI) , operations transformation( TCS); delivery across global operation centres (GOC) in US, UK, EU, Philippines, Mexico, India. - both in captive and multi-client operating environs. He is also engaged in management consulting; education sectors. He was the Managing Director of Hexagon Consulting in his last avatar. Prior to that, he was the EVP & Chief Operating Officer - Global Operations of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) handling a matrix reporting of over 7000+FTEs. As Vice President, he managed the Venture Capital desk at ICICI Bank. He has been on the Board of Directors of Citi Financial, TCS eServe, Five Splash, Future TeleVas and has also founded an educational institute - Sixth Element. A regular speaker at BPO forums and Assocham events, he has travelled across 35 countries. An avid golf player, he practices yoga and is concerned about climate change and social impact of business.
D.P.Sarawgi ( Power ) Mr Sarawgi is an engineer with 44 years of solid experience in the Power industry. He has spent over 25 yrs at BHEL in various power projects globally as Project Head and Director. He was also the Executive Director at Jindal Power Projects. Later he joined Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Ltd as CEO and Whole-time Director. Thereafter he became the CEO (Power) & President for Shristi Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (a SREI Infra Finance Group company). Over the years, D.P has executed thousands of megawatt of projects in India and overseas. He has been involved in all the facets of power business, right from construction to deployment to management to due diligence to arbitration. Mr Sarawgi is an engineer, a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India) & Chartered Member of Lions Clubs. He has been conferred Life Time Achievement Award by Institution of Engineers (India).
Tathagata Sarkar ( Renewable Energy ) is a renewable energy professional & perusing research in the field of Smart Microgrid Implementation in India. He is also a Professor at Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST), Kolkata. He has designed and executed more than thirty (30) nos. of solar PV plants, more than twenty (20) nos. of wind turbines & 5 nos. of bio energy plants in India, USA & UK. He has worked with US Department of Energy & Capstone Turbine Corporation, USA for setting up India's first Biogas fired Microturbine based grid connected power plant. He has also worked with Queens University Belfast, UK to develop Energy Management Systems for renewable energy based systems. He also designed & installed 500KW wind turbine at Northern Ireland. He also worked in the field of power plant protection & stability, performance optimization & energy efficiency.
Parthadev Roy ( Govt Business ) has over 35 years of global experience. He is a post graduate from MSU, a Ph.D in Finance (USA) and FIC (UK). He has been an Advisor (Scientific) to the World Bank ADB, DFID and DST Programmes. He has also worked as a Technical Advisor in ICAR and CSIR. Mr Roy is a National Award recipient in the field of aquaculture programme, coastal regulatory zone and also Academic award winner for scientific literature. He is also the co-founder of BOBP - a coastal initiative involving 4 countries.
Anindya Dasgupta ( Tech ) is a Six Sigma, Prince2, ITIL (Business Strategy Expert) certified IT professional with more than 2 decades of experience in Service Delivery, Project Management, Stakeholder Management, System Integration, Deployment and Resource Management. His expertise includes project scoping, planning & estimation, management of risks, resource planning and viability checking. Andy has spent around 24 years in UK at HSBC and other banks. He is well versed with banking domain mainly in Financial System Processes, SWIFT, Trade Services, Global Payment System. He also played a major role in deciding new technology and infrastructure when HSBC acquired German Bank Trinkhaus and replaced their manual trade system with an automated system.
Kumar Aniket ( Legal ) is a versatile entrepreneur and an impeccable legal and finance professional with over 20 years of corporate experience. He has worked as Finance controller and Legal head for Indian and Philippines operations of Fidelity Services Inc. He has been a part of various Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisition deals. His past experience includes heading Legal and Secretarial department of Oxigen Services and its group companies, a MNC acquired by Microsoft. Aniket was earlier the Head of the Legal department of Barista Coffee Company Limited. With a Masters in Finance, his expertise lies in setting up financial, legal and commercial framework for start-ups and SMEs. He has expert knowledge in the area of International Joint Ventures and foreign collaborations. He is a partner in one of India's top law firms and on-board of few companies.
